A once-in-a lifetime experience!
You and a guest will receive a personal guided hang and walk-through the projects of passion by two titans of rock for a day of dust, dreams, and jello shots.
Jeff Pinkus takes us through his Church of Frijoles, an off-grid performance venue in the mountains of Northwest Asheville inside of a ???? church. Curating from a universe of music, he’s created intensely intimate, powerful show experiences. After a few years open they’re in the midst of renovating. You’ll get the lowdown. he’ll supply jello shots and hot dogs.
We’ll then head over with Claude Coleman, Jr to SoundSpace@Rabbit’s, a music rehearsal and arts studio facility with a future soul food kitchen inside of a 1947 Black-owned ‘tourist court’ motel. The rehearsal rooms opened 2020. You’ll walk through the entire property and facility including the 1947 building to be renovated and original hotel rooms upstairs. You’ll sample a plate from future chef Clarence Robinson’s food truck, and lick your thumbs for two days.
You’ll learn amazing history, stories and struggles, and share the excitement of what’s to become, personally hosted to you by two power gladiators of rock supremacy.
